A supervised program means a clinical team monitoring your progress and your laboratory studies, and adjusting the plan as you go.
Rate of weight loss varies considerably between patients. Maintaining a result depends on continuing the changes established during the program, and Dr. Lindley will discuss what to expect over the long term at your consultation.
The program begins with a comprehensive in-person evaluation, and what we recommend follows from what that evaluation finds. What the program includes:
What is appropriate for you is determined at your evaluation and discussed with you in person before anything begins.

The program is offered as an all-inclusive monthly membership, so you know the cost up front rather than watching it accumulate visit by visit.
Membership includes access to Dr. Lindley, Kathryn, RN, and our metabolic nutritionist throughout the program, along with a discount on IV therapy.
We will go through exactly what is included, and what it costs, at your initial consultation.
The program begins with a physician evaluation. Dr. Lindley takes your history, asks about previous attempts at weight loss, and performs a physical exam. You will also undergo a body composition analysis and an initial weigh-in.
We then take a blood sample to screen for conditions that may contribute to or be associated with weight gain — thyroid dysfunction, dyslipidemia, diabetes, hormone imbalances, kidney dysfunction and nutritional deficiencies. Those studies exist to find what has been working against you, which is often something nobody has looked for before.
A metabolic nutritionist is part of the program and is available to meet with you whenever you request it. At your initial evaluation the nutritionist records your baseline parameters and designs a diet and activity plan around your results rather than handing you a standard one.
From there the nutritionist is available for follow-ups, weigh-ins and coaching as often as you want them. We track body composition on a biometric scale in the clinic, and recommend a similar at-home scale so you can follow the same measurements between visits.
What you eat and how much you move determine whether a result holds over the long term, which is why the nutritionist is included rather than sold as an add-on.
The program suits patients who have tried to lose weight on their own without lasting success. Whether the goal is ten pounds or a hundred, the first step is finding out what has been working against you — which is what the evaluation and blood panel are for.
We treat each patient individually and never use a one-size-fits-all approach. Your program is built around your evaluation, your laboratory results and your goals. What any individual achieves depends on their starting point, any underlying conditions and how closely the plan is followed. Dr. Lindley will give you a realistic picture at the outset rather than a promise.
