Hybrid Fractional Laser

The Purpose

Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) treatment reduces the appearance of surface and subsurface imperfections in the skin.  This laser skin resurfacing treatment treats aging-related skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen and elastin production.  HFL also treats:

  • Sun damage
  • Discoloration
  • Skin tone
  • Texture
  • Enlarged pores

This treatment can be performed on the face, décolleté, arms and shoulders, hands, and legs.

The Science Behind HFL

Hybrid Fraction Laser (HFL) treatment combines diode 1,470 nm, nonablative, and Er:YAG 2,940 nm, ablative wavelengths to a single treatment zone to maximize results and reduce downtime.

diode (1,470 nm)

Nonablative Fractionated Laser

The diode, 1,470 nm, nonablative wavelength not only reduces the appearance of imperfections in the subsurface of the skin, such as sun damage and other pigment issues, but also stimulates fibroblasts to generate collagen production.  This laser wavelength delivers thermal energy precisely into deeper layers of the skin through microchannels, stimulating the body's natural healing processes.

Erbium: YAG (2,940 nm)

Ablative Fractionated Laser

The Erbium:YAG, 2,940 nm, ablative wavelength reduces the appearance of imperfections on the surface of the skin, such as texture, pores, and aging-related concerns. This laser wavelength vaporizes the outermost layers of damaged, discolored skin cells, causing healing in the epidermal and dermal tissue below, revealing healthier, more radiant skin.

Combining these two wavelengths provides short-term and long-term benefits by stimulating the skin and promoting our bodies to regenerate new, healthy skin regeneration.

Results

Reduced appearance of imperfections visible as quickly as a week and continue to improve over the next few months.  Patients will experience 5-7 days of downtime with little social downtime.

Erbium Laser

The Purpose

Erbium Laser treatments improve and reduce the appearance of

  • Texture
  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Dullness
  • Enlarged pores
  • Pigment
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scars & scars

These treatments help with dryness, complexion, and aging skin.

Erbium laser treatments are individualized to address your specific skin care needs and can be administered with great precision of depth, resulting in maximum results. This treatment may be performed on the face, neck, and décolleté.

The Science Behind Erbium Laser

Erbium lasers use Er:YAG, a 2,940 nm wavelength that is highly absorbed and targets water in the skin.  This laser heats water molecules in the skin tissue and vaporizes the skin cells once the water becomes gas.  It delivers a precise amount of energy that vaporizes dead skin, promotes collagen formation, and eliminates damaged cells that make the skin appear dull, aged, and discolored.

Erbium Laser Peel

Ablative Nonfractionated Laser

Erbium Laser Peel treatment uses Er:YAG 2,940 nm wavelength to target the outermost layer of dead and dry skin cells, removing the entire treatment area.  It reveals the healthy skin that is beneath the surface, resulting in a radiant glow.  This treatment stimulates the body's natural healing process.  As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area.

Erbium Laser Resurfacing

Ablative Fractionated Laser

Erbium Laser Resurfacing treatment uses Er:YAG 2,940 nm wavelength to create small channels in the skin, affecting only a fraction of the treatment area instead of completely removing the surface like our Erbium Laser Peel.  This approach stimulates the body's natural healing response while preserving surrounding tissue for faster recovery.

Erbium Laser Spot Treatment

The Erbium Laser may also be used as a spot treatment to treat pigmented lesions or areas of concern.  Our physician will determine which treatment is best for your skin and health at your consultation.

Results

Reduced appearance of imperfections and a brighter complexion are visible as quickly as three days.  Results continue to improve over the following weeks.  With Erbium Laser treatments, patients can choose their desired results and a suitable downtime.

Broad Spectrum Light

The Purpose

Broad Spectrum Light (BSL) treatment treats and reduces the appearance of:

  • Acne
  • Redness
  • Inflammation
  • Vascular lesions
  • Pigmented lesions
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Scars
  • Acne scars

This treatment also effectively treats aging-related skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles and improves elasticity by stimulating collagen and elastin production. BSL treatment targets pigment issues, evens skin tone, and improves overall appearance.

The Science Behind BSL

By delivering various wavelengths of intense pulsed light (IPL) directly into the skin, BSL can target multiple skin concerns and imperfections.  Light energy delivered by BSL gently heats the upper layers of the skin and stimulates skin cell regeneration.  As cell turnover occurs and collagen levels increase, the skin becomes smoother, clearer, and more youthful from the inside out.

Results

Reduced appearance of imperfections visible as quickly as a week and continue to improve, with no patient downtime.  Multiple treatments result in the best outcome.

Vascular and Pigment Laser

The Purpose

Vascular and Pigment laser treatment addresses the concerns of superficial and deep vascular lesions, pigment, and skin revitalization.  Treating these conditions can significantly improve skin tone, color, texture, and health. Vascular and Pigment laser device effectively treats redness/veinous skin concerns:

  • Rosacea & redness
  • Facial veins around the nose
  • Red/pink acne scars
  • Spider/Reticular veins
  • Cherry/Spider Angiomas
  • Bruising
  • Port Wine Stain
  • Hemangioma
  • Venous Lakes (seen on lower lip)
  • Dyschromia
  • Matting
  • Poikiloderma

Vascular and Pigment laser device also treats various pigment skin concerns:

  • Melasma
  • Freckles
  • Age spots
  • Sun spots
  • Café au lait macules
  • Freckles
  • Dyschromia
  • Nevi
  • DPN
  • Poikiloderma

This laser device may also be used to revitalize the skin, improving the appearance of wrinkles, texture, pores, and acne/surgical scars.

The Science Behind Vascular and Pigment Laser

Vascular and Pigment laser device utilizes dual-wavelength laser technology, KTP (532 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) laser wavelengths.

KTP (532 nm)

532 nm laser wavelength addresses oxyhemoglobin, red vessels in the skin, and brown pigment.

Nd:YAG (1064 nm)

1064 nm laser wavelength addresses deoxyhemoglobin, deep blue vessels, in the skin.

Results

Reduced appearance of imperfections visible as quickly as a few days and continue to improve over the next few weeks/months.  Downtime can range anywhere from a few days to a week, depending on the severity of the treatment.

Pulsed Energy Laser

The Purpose

Pulsed Energy Laser treatments improve and reduce the appearance of

  • Acne
  • Acne scars
  • Scars
  • Skin laxity

The Science Behind Pulsed Energy Laser

Pulsed Energy Laser uses 1,319 nm nonablative, infrared wavelengths to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out.

1,319 nm Pulsed Energy

Nonablative Nonfractionated Laser

The 1,319 nm nonablative wavelength penetrates deep into the inner layer of the skin (dermis).  The treatment area absorbs the energy emitted and stimulates collagen production in the skin.  Thickening of the dermis occurs, which smoothes wrinkles, scars, and other skin imperfections.  The Pulsed Energy Laser also reduces the effects of acne by altering the structure and function of sebaceous glands.

Results

Reduced appearance of imperfections visible over the following months after treatment with minimal downtime.  Multiple treatments are required to reach optimal results.

Scar Revision

We can design a treatment plan focusing on treating and eliminating visible scars.  Each scar is unique and will require a combination of our laser devices to improve its appearance.  Many patients schedule laser treatments to treat acne scars.  However, we can also use a laser device to improve the appearance of traumatic or surgical scars.

During the treatment, the laser will target the area beneath the scar, stimulate natural collagen production, and within a few weeks, you'll notice a significantly improved skin texture in that area.  Red or pink-colored scars can be treated with our vascular laser treatments to improve and blend the scar’s color.

Scar Revision is an individualized treatment. The treatment plan will be created and discussed during the consultation process.
